Eri Woodbury diary and recollections, ca. 1928.

Typewritten memoirs by Eri Davidson Woodbury, covering his career as a soldier and teacher. A native of New Hampshire, Woodbury served with the 1st Vermont Cavalry during the Civil War. Following his military service, Woodbury joined the Cheshire Military Academy (now the Cheshire Academy) as a teacher, and later as headmaster. Included in the collection are copies of letters of condolence to Mrs. Woodbury, a Civil War diary, and other letters and speeches.
